Who's behind G-Regs
This site has been created by people who are either legally qualified, or who have spent many years in the commercial communications business, or both:

Field Fisher Waterhouse
FFW’s role is to assemble and review the draft text for accuracy and completeness before it’s loaded onto the site.

FFW LLP is a European law firm HQ'ed in London and with further offices in Manchester, Paris, Brussels, Munich, Dusseldorf and Hamburg. The firm has one of the UK’s leading Advertising and Marketing practices. Legal 500 ranks FFW’s Advertising and Marketing practice in the top tier. Chambers and Partners ranks David Bond of FFW as a leading expert in advertising law for many years. David is closely associated with the development of G-Regs.

The European Advertising Standards Alliance (EASA)
EASA’s role is to co-ordinate the review of the self-regulatory aspects of the regulations assembled on G-Regs by individual national self-regulatory organisations.

Rae Burdon
Formerly COO of the Advertising Association in the UK; worked closely with CAP/ASA on their digital remit. Principal career with agencies such as Saatchi and Saatchi, JWT, Lowe, and McCann’s; clients included Diageo, Hewlett-Packard, Nestlé, P&G and Unilever, all regionally or globally. Founder of G-Regs.

Tim Sutton
Tim is Head of Content at G-Regs, meaning that he is responsible for researching and assembling all the rules. Tim graduated in Law and Spanish from Cardiff.

David Bond
David is a partner and head of the Advertising and Marketing Law group at FFW and is responsible for managing the review of the regulations on the site.

Andy Fenning
Andy spent 30 years in the agency business at JWT, starting in London and finishing - via Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Lisbon – in New York as EVP, Worldwide Director of Strategic Development. During that time Andy worked on most of JWT’s international business. Andy’s role with G-Regs is to look after Latin America, a region he knows intimately.
